No. Ranking position comes only from our published 100-point formula. Paid placements are separate, clearly labelled “Sponsored” cards that sit outside the editorial ranking.

What happens if I do not advertise?

Nothing. Every contractor we rank is listed on the same terms whether they pay us or not, and we never remove or downgrade a company for declining to advertise.

Yes. A lead is sent to one contractor and is never resold. Leads outside your service area or trade, or with an unusable phone number, are not billed.

Monthly placements can be cancelled at any time. The 6- and 12-month rates are paid up front in exchange for the discount.
